Peter Healey is a sociologist of science and technology, living in London. His favourite research project is Researching Inequality through Science and Technology (ResIST – https://www.ces.uc.pt/projectos/resist/paperslibrary/full-and-final-results.html ). He has been working on Geoengineering Governance in the last ten years or so, whilst the critical social science contribution has become sadly marginalised by a emergency, instrumental framing of its contribution to climate policy (for a pushback on this see http://journal.frontiersin.org/article/10.3389/fclim.2020.00002/full?&utm_source=Email_to_authors_&utm_medium=Email&utm_content=T1_11.5e1_author&utm_campaign=Email_publication&field=&journalName=Frontiers_in_Climate&id=539004).

This blog contains his personal reflections on life both personal and professional, present and past. It stuttered into life in 2011 and somehow ran out of energy in 2015, when he was lured into the dark side as was his country (Facebook and Brexit respectively). This is an attempt at a revival, with possibly some new retrospective pieces bridging the gap between the two dates.
